Common questions.
Can't find what you're looking for? Call us at (323) 348-4205 — we're a small enough pharmacy that one of our pharmacists will pick up.
How long does a refill take?
Turnaround depends on the medication. Standard refills are often same-day when stock is available; compounded medications typically take longer. We'll confirm timing when you call or visit.
Do you offer delivery?
Local delivery is available in select ZIP codes — call to confirm your address and timing. For LTC facilities, we deliver on a routine schedule. Outside our delivery zone? Ask about shipping options.
How do I transfer a prescription from CVS or Walgreens?
Use our transfer form — give us your name, DOB, and which medications you want. We handle the rest. You don't need to call your old pharmacy, get a paper script, or pick anything up. Timing varies by pharmacy; we'll keep you updated.
Does my insurance cover compounded medications?
Sometimes. Compounds are not covered by all plans, and coverage often depends on whether the compound meets specific medical-necessity criteria. We will bill your insurance first and, if denied, quote a cash price after we review your prescription. We can also help submit prior authorization paperwork.
Can I get a 90-day supply?
For most maintenance medications, yes — 90-day supplies often cost less than three 30-day fills. We can also set up auto-refill so you don't have to remember.
What if I'm out of refills?
Call us. We'll fax your prescriber and request a renewal. Most respond within 24 hours; in urgent cases we can usually dispense an emergency 3-day supply while we wait.
Do you accept Medi-Cal & Medicare?
Yes — Medi-Cal, Medi-Cal Managed Care (L.A. Care, Health Net, Anthem), Medicare Part D (all plans), and Medicare Part B for DME. Bring your card on your first visit.
Is my information private?
Yes. We are HIPAA-compliant. We never share, sell, or disclose your health information except as required to fill your prescription and bill your insurance. Our Notice of Privacy Practices details exactly what we do and don't do with your data.
Can I talk to a pharmacist?
Always. Walk in, call, or schedule a consultation. Our pharmacists are happy to review your full medication list, flag interactions, discuss alternatives, and answer questions your doctor's appointment didn't have time for.
Still have questions?
We pick up the phone. Talk to a real pharmacist, today.
