Terms of service.

The legal agreement between you and TFC Pharmacy & Compounding governing your use of tfcpharmacy.com, our patient and prescriber portals, and our online services. By using the site, you agree to these terms.

Effective January 1, 2026
Last revised May 14, 2026
Governing law State of California, USA

These terms (the "Terms") form a legal agreement between you ("you") and TFC Pharmacy & Compounding, a California-licensed pharmacy ("TFC", "we", "us"). Please read them carefully. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

§ 1Who we are

TFC Pharmacy & Compounding is a California-licensed pharmacy located at 4914½ W Slauson Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90056. We are PCAB-accredited (PCAB by ACHC) for specialty compounding and separately ACHC-accredited as a long-term-care pharmacy. We provide pharmacy services to patients, prescribers, and long-term-care facilities, including compounded medications prepared from individual prescriptions. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved drug products. Nothing on this site constitutes medical advice, and our pharmacists do not diagnose or prescribe.

§ 2Using the site

You agree to:

  • Use the site only for lawful purposes, in accordance with these Terms;
  • Provide accurate, current information when you create an account, refill a prescription, or contact us;
  • Keep your portal credentials confidential — you're responsible for activity on your account;
  • Not attempt to access another user's account, scrape PHI, or interfere with the site's operation.

You may not use the site to transmit malware, send unsolicited communications, or reverse-engineer any portion of our software.

§ 3Pharmacy services & prescriptions

We fill prescriptions for active TFC patients who have valid prescriptions from a licensed prescriber. Specifically:

  • All prescriptions are subject to professional pharmacist review and may be refused if dispensing would violate state or federal law or our professional judgment;
  • Compounded medications are prepared to your prescriber's specification — we don't substitute, alter, or add ingredients without prescriber consent;
  • Compounded medications have not been evaluated by the FDA. The legal standard for compounding is patient-specific necessity, not bioequivalence;
  • We comply with USP <795>, <797>, and <800>, but environmental factors during patient storage may affect potency;
  • Final pricing depends on your insurance, our actual ingredient cost, and any applicable copay or prior-auth requirement.

§ 4No medical advice

Information on this site — including the Resources, Compounding Library, FAQ, and any content from our pharmacists — is for general educational purposes only. It is not medical advice. We are not your physician. Always consult a licensed prescriber for diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions. Do not start, stop, or change a medication based on something you read here.

§ 5Accounts & portal access

Some features (patient portal, prescriber portal, refill requests, messaging) require an account. You must be at least 18 years old or the parent/legal guardian of a patient to create an account on their behalf. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with or without notice.

§ 6Communication & consent

By providing your phone number, you consent to receive text messages from us about your prescriptions, appointments, and related pharmacy services. Standard message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time; reply HELP for help. You also consent to receive transactional emails about your account. Marketing emails are opt-in only — see our Privacy & HIPAA Notice.

§ 7Payment & insurance

For prescription pickups and deliveries, payment is due upon dispensing. We accept cash, debit, credit, HSA/FSA, and most insurance plans. If your insurance denies a claim, you remain responsible for payment. Compounded medications are sometimes not covered; we will give you our cash price before dispensing if that's the case.

§ 8Intellectual property

The site, its design, written content, logos, and the Compounding Library are © 2026 TFC Pharmacy & Compounding. PCCA formula numbers (F-####) are property of Professional Compounding Centers of America. You may save, print, or share content for personal or clinical use. You may not republish, sell, or repackage our content without written permission.

§ 9Third-party content & links

We may link to third-party websites (e.g. PCCA, USP, manufacturer pages). We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content, privacy practices, or accuracy. Following an external link is at your own risk.

§ 10Disclaimer & limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the site is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We don't guarantee that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure against every imaginable threat. We do guarantee that we'll work hard, in good faith, to provide accurate pharmacy services.

Our total liability for any claim related to the site is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater. This limitation does not apply to gross negligence, willful misconduct, or anything else that California law prohibits limiting.

§ 11Indemnification

You agree to indemnify TFC against any loss arising from your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the site. We agree, in turn, to indemnify you against losses arising from our negligent acts as a licensed pharmacy.

§ 12Termination

Either of us can terminate this agreement at any time. We can deactivate your portal account if you violate these Terms; you can close your account by writing to us. Provisions that should reasonably survive termination (intellectual property, limitation of liability, governing law) do.

§ 13Governing law & dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any dispute should first be addressed by writing to our Privacy Officer at privacy@tfcpharmacy.com; we genuinely prefer to talk it out. If we can't resolve it, the courts of Los Angeles County, California have exclusive jurisdiction.

§ 14Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. The current version is always posted at tfcpharmacy.com/terms with a revision date at the top. Material changes will be announced via banner notice on the site. Continued use after a change indicates acceptance.
